This year, Sink Oar Swim float group built a phoenix to raise support for Covenant House, an organization providing safe shelter and loving care to youth facing homelessness. Covenant House keeps its doors open 24/7 so that when they're ready to rise, someone is there.
We chose the phoenix because her story is theirs too. She rises from the ashes. She transforms. She embodies resilience in its purest form.
